Get ready for the WWE roster to shake up with the 2024 WWE Draft set to take place this week and next.
The two-day event will bring massive changes to the "Monday Night Raw" and "Friday Night SmackDown" rosters, and it will have ramifications for the developmental NXT brand. All of WWE's on-air talent could be moved to other shows, which could shift the course of the company for the remainder of the calendar year. Title holders could swap, newcomers could be promoted and other surprises could be in store for the draft.
Here's what to know about the 2024 WWE Draft:
When is the 2024 WWE Draft?
The 2024 WWE Draft will take place Friday, April 26 and Monday, April 29.
Where will the 2024 WWE Draft take place?
The two-day event will begin on "Friday Night SmackDown" from Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The draft will conclude on "Monday Night Raw" from T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
How to watch 2024 WWE Draft
"Friday Night SmackDown" on April 26 will be broadcasted on Fox at 8 p.m. ET. "Monday Night Raw" on April 29 will be broadcasted on USA Network at 8 p.m. ET.
How does the WWE Draft work?
The draft will consist of "Raw" and "SmackDown" each making selections for who they want on their rosters, similar to professional sports leagues. Whichever brand a star is drafted by is the show that star will exclusively appear on for the remainder of the year. Adam Pearce serves as the general manager of "Raw" and Nick Aldis is the general manager of "SmackDown."
Each brand will make alternating picks. Those currently on the main roster but not selected in the draft will be declared free agents, meaning they can appear on either show.
Who is eligible for the 2024 WWE Draft?
All stars are eligible to be selected in the draft, including every champion and NXT personnel.
Current WWE champions
With no brand exclusive title, champions and their titles can be moved without the titles having to switch hands, unless they are in NXT. Here are the current champions on the main roster:
