Rap icon 50 Cent shared a meme of former President Donald Trump on his iconic "Get Rich or Die Tryin" album cover in reaction to the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
Suspected gunman Thomas Crooks, 20, opened fire at Trump's rally, killing one and injuring two others. The ex-president was grazed in the right ear and rushed off the stage by the Secret Service. Crooks was killed after the attack.
"Trump gets shot and now I'm trending," the rapper and business mogul, born Curtis Jackson, posted on X on Saturday. The viral meme features Trump's face on 50 Cent's 2003 album cover.

An AI version of the song featuring Trump's voice is circulating online. And, according to a report from Complex, there is footage of the rapper using the meme as a backdrop while performing the song during a recent performance.
In the hit song, the New York rapper, who survived getting shot nine times in 2000, raps: "Many men wish death upon me /Blood in my eye, dawg, and I can't see/ I'm tryin' to be what I'm destined to be /And n— tryin' to take my life away."
In early June, 50 Cent and civil rights attorney Ben Crump appeared on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., to advocate for more opportunities in the liquor industry. Speaking with CBS News at the time, 50 Cent said that he hadn't decided on who he wanted to vote for in the upcoming election but could see Black men "identifying with Trump."
